The CineBuff CB-TRRS-EX-2.5 is an 8.4-foot (2.5m) female-to-male TRRS 3.5mm audio extension cable. It adds substantial extra cable length to microphones or other audio sources and works as an extension cable for headphones. Bi-directional, it is fully compatible with TRS and TRRS sources and passes plug-in power, making it a versatile, high-quality accessory that’s useful for a variety of tasks out in the field or in your studio.
Extend your Microphone Reach and Expand Positioning Options
Designed to be an extension cable for microphones, the CB-TRRS-EX-2.5 works well with 3.5mm shotgun microphones, lavaliers, and even wireless mic receivers. Providing 8.4' (2.5m) of length for numerous applications, such using a mini shotgun mic on a boom pole or stand, positioning a subject in front of the camera with a 3.5mm lavalier, or getting your wireless mic receiver closer to transmitters to guard against dropouts.
