Overview
The Saramonic BoomPole Lite is a rugged and extremely lightweight professional carbon fiber boom pole with a coiled internal XLR cable. It allows you to comfortably position your microphones close to your subjects, while remaining at a distance or out of frame. It features 3 telescoping sections and adjusts from 3.3 to 8.’ feet in length (1 to 2.5m). Long enough to discretely boom any scene and compact and light enough to take anywhere, easily fitting into a backpack, case, or its included padded case.
Ultra-Lightweight Carbon Fiber Construction with Comfortable Ergonomic Design
Constructed with reinforced carbon fiber the BoomPole Lite is highly durable while remaining extremely lightweight and comfortable to handle even in extreme temperatures. Weighing only 1.59lbs, it reduces handling fatigue during extended use and keeps the weight of your kit to a minimum when in transit. It features easy-twist locks to make quick adjustments smooth and effortless while in use and its jam-resistant collar couplings allowing you to fasten sections confidently. It also features a large foam-padded grip for additional comfort and to minimize handling noise.
Internal Coiled XLR Cable with Bottom-Exit Connector
The BoomPole Lite features an integrated, coiled XLR cable that allows the cable to smoothly extend and retract with the telescoping tubes. The top of the boom pole features a strain-relief that absorbs tension and protects the cable from damage at the edges. It also features a bottom-exit XLR output connector, making it easy to plug in an XLR cable or wireless XLR Plug-On Transmitter. It also allows the operator can rest the pole on its end when using a right-angle XLR cable without damaging the wiring or connector.
Universal Mounting for all Microphones and Mounts, with Padded Carry Case and Cable Ties
The BoomPole Lite features a 1/4”-20 threaded post and includes 3/8” and 5/8” mounting adapters, allowing you to mount any microphone, shock mount, mic clip, and even cameras or other grip accessories. With a maximum capacity of 6.6lbs (3kg), it has the strength to handle extra-long shotguns and blimps with ease. It includes a padded zipper carry case to protect the BoomPole Lite when in transport or in storage. It also includes 5x touch-fastener cable ties to keep cables your tidy while in use or on the go.
