It features five telescoping sections that adjust from 2' to 10' (0.78 to 3 m) in length. It’s long enough to discreetly boom any scene and compact enough to take anywhere, either with the included padded carrying case with shoulder strap or easily fitting into a backpack or small case.

The top mounting screw can be switched between 3/8" for standard shock mounts and 1/4"-20 tripod thread for attaching on-camera microphones. A 5/8" mounting adapter is also included to provide unrivaled mounting flexibility. The bottom section features a large and padded foam-grip handle, enabling comfortable extended usw while also reducing handling noise. Intuitive easy-twist locks make it possible to quickly shorten or lengthen the Magic Boom Pole, and a simple twist confidently fastens each section in place.

It features a dense, rubbery base which is useful for resting it on the floor during or between takes. It also features a handy female 3/8" thread for mounting additional equipment, perfect for recorders, interfaces, or audio adapters.
