The Saramonic UwMic9 RX9+HU9 is a portable, dual-channel, camera-mountable UHF handheld wireless microphone system that has powerful features which greatly exceed the capabilities of competing systems that cost over twice as much. The included dual-channel RX9 receiver gives you the ability to run two separate wireless microphones by adding an additional transmitter, such as a second HU9 handheld microphone (sold separately). This system is perfect for DSLRs, Mirrorless, Pro Video and all types of cameras or portable audio recorders with either 3.5mm, or XLR microphone input. Ideal for capturing handheld interviews, field recording, broadcast TV, news gathering, vlogging, YouTube videos and so much more. Both components feature sturdy metal construction and deliver clear, broadcast-quality sound in a low-cost package.

The UwMic9 is remarkably easy to use and it works right out of the box. You turn on the power and go. It utilizes the UHF (Ultra High Frequency) spectrum, which helps you avoid interference, and its 514-596 MHz range is not impacted by the FCC’s ban of the 600 MHz frequencies. An automatic-scan feature locates the best available channel for you and the infrared synchronization makes the process a snap. There are 2 banks of 96 channels available, which enables you to run multiple sets of UwMic9 systems at the same time without issues. Easy-to-read backlit LCD displays on the transmitter and the receiver let you make quick adjustments to the intuitive menus in the brightest or darkest environments. The RX9 receiver also includes a headphone output, enabling real-time audio monitoring which is vital if your camera lacks a headphone output.

The combo mute/power button can be locked with a switch hidden inside the body to prevent the person holding the mic from accidentally muting, changing the channel or turning it off. An easy-to-read backlit LCD display clearly shows the remaining battery life, mute status, and the group and its operating channel. A protective ring around the perimeter of the grill prevents the HU9 from rolling when resting on flat surfaces. The HU9 also feature a High/Low RX transmission power output setting, allowing users to conserve batteries in controlled recording environments. And the RX9 receiver has a power-locking feature to prevent it from accidentally being turned off when in use.
