The Saramonic SR-SMC20 is a universal shock mount for attaching audio recorders and microphones to cameras, boom poles, stands and tripods, isolating them from vibration and handling noise with its integrated suspension system. It’s compatible with any kind of portable audio recorder or microphone that has a female 1/4” 20 thread, which is a standard feature. The SR-SMC20 makes it possible to record with the sensitive built-in microphones on audio recorders while they’re mounted to cameras and stands without picking up unwanted noise.

Tough, compact and multitalented
Unlike other options which tend to be flimsy and prone to bending and damage, the SR-SMC20 is durably constructed, yet compact, lightweight and efficient. The integrated suspension system can support audio recorders and microphones weighing up to 1.1 pounds (500g). The metal 1/4”-20 screw at the top features a large wheel that makes it easy to tighten and loosen, even when it’s mounted to a camera or stand. The base features both a locking cold shoe that’s compatible with most cameras, and a metal 1/4”-20 female thread to attach it to boom poles, stands, tripods and much more.
